Staying here for a quick visit to Newark was a delightful experience. The room was not just clean, but beautifully decorated with tasteful furnishings and ample space. The breakfast, made to order, was superb, especially the homemade jams that showcased the lovely garden. It was a nice touch that made our mornings extra special.

the stay was just a nightmare. a heavy double duvet on a single bed felt so suffocating, and let’s not mention the cramped bathroom. also, I expected a upgrade for all my troubles, but instead, I received nothing. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t, really. what a shame!

Comfortable room with a decent layout. The views from our room offered a charming glimpse of the surrounding area.
The bathroom in the large twin room was acceptable but felt a bit cramped. no ground floor rooms are available, posing a bit of a challenge for those with mobility issues, especially with my 92-year-old mum managing the stairs. While the immediate surroundings lacked dining options for a quick meal, Newark town centre provides more choices not too far away.

The hosts, John and Pablo, welcomed us like friends, making our family stay enjoyable with their warm hospitality. We loved the spacious rooms, especially after our long drive, and the breakfasts were a hit with the kids, featuring excellent homemade jams and great coffee.
My kids wished there were some entertainment options for them.

I stayed in the Large Twin Room for 2 nights and it was such a nice spot. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, felt like home! The bed was super comfy and I loved the vintage vibes. Breakfast was amazing too, with proper sausages and delicious homemade jam. Just wish the bathroom had a bit more space, but overall, I had a great time!
